There are times where it seems extra hard to convey that being a designer is more than just knowing InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator very well. In fact, I would say that a good designer might not know those programs well at all, after all, they are just tools to produce that which was already created and may currently reside in our heads. 90% of of a website, for instance, is designed before Photoshop is even opened.
